Born From a Love of Adventure

In 2009, two university friends returned from a gap year exploring Australia's remote corners. They had discovered places that no guidebook mentioned, met communities that welcomed them like family, and experienced moments that changed how they saw travel entirely.

That journey planted a seed. What if others could experience Australia this way—not as tourists passing through, but as travellers truly connecting with the land?

From a small office in Melbourne, armed with little more than a map covered in handwritten notes and a determination to do things differently, progeripia was born.
